Some weddings sparkle with grandeur, and others shine quietly from the heart — Kelly and Ross’s celebration at the Laichmoray Hotel in Elgin was very much the latter.

The couple had already shared a private ceremony the day before, a deeply personal moment just for the two of them. But they wanted to make sure their loved ones could join the joy too. So the following day, they gathered everyone together for a warm, laughter-filled celebration that felt beautifully relaxed and real.

From the moment guests arrived, the atmosphere was pure happiness. Hugs, smiles, and chatter filled every corner, and I was lucky enough to be there, camera in hand, capturing it all — from the greetings and giggles over dinner to the dance floor moments that followed.

The Laichmoray Hotel was the perfect setting for it — full of charm, character, and that welcoming feel that makes everyone instantly at home. As the evening sun dipped low, the rooms filled with a soft golden glow that gave the photos a magical, almost cinematic light. It was the kind of moment every photographer dreams of.

Kelly looked absolutely radiant in her elegant gown — timeless, beautifully fitted, and perfectly her. Ross couldn’t take his eyes off her, and honestly, who could blame him? Together, they had that easy, genuine connection that shows in every smile and glance.

Their first dance was the perfect ending to a day built entirely around love, laughter, and togetherness. No over-the-top frills — just two people, surrounded by their favourite people, celebrating something real and lasting.
